This piece was premiered at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, OH, March 14, 1964 by the Antioch String Quartet, Myron Kartman, first violin. At this time, Miss Perry was studying with French composer Darius Milhaud in the summers at Aspen. Miss Perry studied the violin as a young woman and played violin throughout her life.
